Behind the design:
This design finds its roots in the vibrant traditions of Día de los Muertos, a celebration with deep origins in Mexican culture. Born from a blend of indigenous Aztec rituals and Catholic beliefs, Día de los Muertos honors deceased loved ones with colorful ofrendas, joyful gatherings, and vibrant symbols like the Calavera. This skull, far from being morbid, represents life and rebirth, a reminder that our connection to loved ones transcends physical death. The vibrant orange and blue hues in this design evoke the marigolds that guide spirits home and the fiery sunsets that paint the sky during this special time of remembrance.
